Jumpsuits Are Everything with SammyDress

This jumpsuit is absolutely to die for. I mean I usually am terrified of ordering skin tight jumpsuits due to my long torso issues, but this photographed so well. I ordered it in an XL, which I highly recommend because it is quite tight otherwise. The drawstring waist gave me the perfect shape. I paired it with  SammyDress’s cape sweater and styled it so that it showed off a sweetheart neckline. The outfit together was gold.

The cape sweater was a little confusing when I got it, you had to wrap it around twice before putting your arms in. It was also at more of crop top length, just in case you plan on wearing it without some high-waisted pants.

The jumpsuit is just extremely versatile in that you can style it in many ways. Off-the-shoulder is definitely a trend to pair this overall-like jumpsuit with, but you could also try a collared button down or long-sleeve crop top.

Sammy Dress has some seriously cute pieces, that you can mix and match just like this. Feel free to check out their site and Facebook.

Dezzal: Business-Casual or Street-Chic

Jumpsuit Amanda Sutherland

In collaboration with Dezzal, I have received the most amazing jumpsuit and detailed top from their online selection. This outfit spoke to me on their site because it has that New York style with a feminine touch.

The outfit can be worn as a business-casual look with flats or heels. With a heel the outfit would create a stunning elongated look to wear to work 0r for evening occasions.  I on the other hand decided to dress the look down with a pair of Adidas for the New York street look. The outfit can go either way really.

The jumpsuit fit me very well. I have an extremely long torso so the fact that this fit me was amazing. Duly noted I did order a large due to my knowledge of my long torso. The quality of this jumpsuit and top were amazing, definitely work wear material. The jumpsuit particularly felt like a business pant or blazer-type material.

I absolutely adore the top underneath the detailed-bell sleeve. It is so feminine and unique. The top is very flattering it made my chest look bigger than it is, which is a positive for me. I’m excited to wear these pieces separate and together.

The whole outfit was $103.99. The price was definitely worth the quality for me. I received the clothes about two weeks after I ordered and was thrilled when I opened my packages.

I have to say Dezzal really executes a quality piece for your wardrobe quite nicely. They also have extremely unique pieces for everybody.

Go check out there site for fabulous combinations just like this. Here is the link to the outfit I received: Bell Sleeve Knitwear With Capri Palazzo Overalls. Also check out Dezzal’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Scroll down for a better look.

Night at the Gala

The VIM Fall 2015 Magazine Launch Event was beautiful. The Eli Broad and Edythe Museum makes for a fantastic venue. The modernistic architecture and art galleries gave the event the perfect ambiance. The event started with a glamorous photo-opp step and repeat. Once we walked past the photographers there were various raffles to enter. They varied from Tiffany & Co. bracelets to Aveda gift cards.

We all gathered around the runway to watch the featured designs of the night. They were created by students in the Fashion Design program at Michigan State University. One of the designers was chosen as the winner by vote via Facebook.

After the fashion show we were invited to tour the museum. The exhibits featured a lot of video art on large canvases on the second floor. The first floor featured an enormous hand sewn tarp with red soldiers facing away from it.

All in all the event was a success, the magazine was flawless and our teams could not be more proud.

My outfit choice for the Gala was a wide leg jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and tie. I paired it with some classic black heels and my black studded evening clutch. Get the look below.
